During the visit to Eurasia-Pacific Uninet(EPU), Mr. Wang Xudong signed the agreement for BDA’s accession to the EPU with Prof. Wolf-Dieter Rausch, and explored possibilities for bilateral and multilateral cooperation under the EPU framework. Established in 2000, the EPU is a network aiming at establishing academic exchanges and scientific partnerships between Austrian universities of applied sciences and research institutions and member institutions in East Asia, Central Asia, South Asia and the Pacific region. Currently, it has 160 institutional members from countries including Austria, China, the DPRK, the ROK, Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Bhutan and India, etc. Its members include art academies such as China Conservatory of Music, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Mozarteum University Salzburg, and Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture, etc. Beijing Dance Academy is the first educational establishment providing professional dance training ever to join the network.
